By sharing your information with us and/or by making use of the facilities provided by the Student Tribe, you hereby consent to the collection, storage, processing and transfer of any or all of your personal and non personal information as specified under this Privacy Policy; while ensuring no wrongful loss or wrongful gain to any individual or corporate entity. Student Tribe holds the right to reuse the creative content shared by the user; as and when necessary.

Additionally, you are given a chance to choose what information you provide to friends and communities through Student Tribe. Our design and privacy settings allow you to make informed choices about who has access to your information.

Personal information that you knowingly disclose and the information (as men-tioned below) given to the website as and when you interact will be processed and stored. We share information with other parties only when it is absolutely necessary to offer the service, legally required and/or, permitted by you:

    • Information that is provided to us by filling any form during registering to use the website, subscribing to our services, posting material or requesting further services and or while reporting any problem with the site. Personal data (name, email address and any other contact information) will be recorded but contact information will only be displayed on the website based on user”s consent. The user will have the option of deciding whether to display the contact information. We may also require information when you report a problem with our site.

    • Student Tribe or any of our associates might request users to take part in surveys for our research purposes. The users are not bound to us to take part in these surveys as and when they are conducted; it is entirely the users’ discretion.

The Site is NOT suitable for or targeted to people under the age of thirteen. Student Tribe does not collect any personal information from users under the age of thirteen. Users under the age of thirteen are required to provide both or any of their parent’s email address while registering and an email will reach their inbox requesting for registration confirmation for the specific user to use Student Tribe and its services. The parent will be bound by law for any acts, deeds or other violations of Student Tribe Terms of Use & Privacy Policy by their wards.

Registration by any user who does not meet the terms of age but has lied about this fact earlier, otherwise misled us about the terms or concealed it from Student Tribe shall be void, and we shall have no liability whatsoever towards such user.

Student Tribe Copyright Policy

Student Tribe believes that content created and shared by you is solely yours and hence, we allow you to have complete control over the information you provide. You confirm and agree that all information (written, graphic, visual, audible) that you provide to Student Tribe shall be lawful, accurate, and complete. If any copyrighted information is provided by the user, Student Tribe shall not be held liable in any legal or extra-legal form.

Referrals

On referring Student Tribe to an acquaintance, we will automatically send an email or instant message inviting him/her to visit the Site. Student Tribe stores this information to send this invitation, for registration and if he/she accepts invitation, and to track success of our referral program. He/She may contact us at [email protected] to request that we remove certain information from our database.


IP Addresses and cookies

You may opt out of such emails by changing the settings in your Account Settings section.
